Features, Benefits

Ride the .WAV to Customized
Applications
These .WAV driver licenses enable connectivity between 3Com SuperStack 3 NBX
systems and the widening array of third-party applications that employ
TAPI.WAV interface standards. Together, TAPI and .WAV create a standard format
for transmitting audio and call control information over your data network.
Now you can integrate sophisticated applications like unified messaging using
a software-based, standards-based connection, rather than incurring the
additional cost and complexity of traditional per- port analog or digital
connections.
- Gain access to popular unified messaging,
call center, and other CTI applications
- Uses an open, standards-based software
solution, not proprietary hardware connections
- A standard network interface card is usually
the only hardware interface required
- Eliminate expensive hardware for analog or
digital per-port connectivity
- Adding capacity does not require adding
hardware
- Developers can create customized "softphones"
to be used with the 3Com NBX platform
- Scalable platform for developers to rapidly
deploy CTI applications
- NBX technology automatically monitors total
concurrent .WAV sessions
- Connect to 2–750
concurrent TAPI.WAV sessions with 3Com .WAV driver licenses: 2 ports
(3C10182), 4 ports (3C10183), 8 ports (3C10184), 16 ports (3C10185), 24
ports (3C10186), 48 ports (3C10187), 96 ports (3C10188), and 750 ports
(3C10189)
