NBX
Release 5.0 is the fourteenth and LARGEST system software
release since the introduction of the 3Com NBX 100 in
October 1998! The new NBX Release 5.0 version is available
on all NBX IP telephony platforms and includes:

for four new IP phone models: 3100 Entry, 3103 Manager,
3106C Cordless and 3107C Cordless

Phone License Dynamic License Borrowing - less expensive
hardware models can borrow more expensive software
group licenses

Offers twenty-plus (20+) new NBX Call Control and
NBX Voicemail Features Including: Built-in basic ACD,
Supervisory Monitoring, Forced/Verified Account Codes,
Call Forward from phone, and three Call Treatment
Call Forward conditions.

NBX
Release 5.0 is a per site license that permits the NBX
system to upgrade to NBX R5.0 system software, available
for NBX 100, NBX V3000, and SS3 NBX platforms. This
license must be present or the NBX system will not allow
moves, adds, and changes (MAC's) to be performed. This
license is not required on new system purchases, as
the license is embedded. License includes right-to-use
licenses and keys for R4.2, R4.3, and R5.0. NBX Resource
CD is included.
