NBX Analog Device Connections |
|
3Com
analog connectivity solutions give 3Com NBX system users
access to a wide variety of NBX features, including
incoming Caller ID alerts. An interrupted (stutter)
dial tone provides notification that new voicemail messages
are available and that other powerful NBX capabilities—such
as the Do Not Disturb feature—have been enabled.
Since each analog port is assigned a unique extension
number in the 3Com NBX system, users also have full
access to NBX NetSet for browser-based configuration
and monitoring of their extension.
- Easily
connects a wide variety of industry standard analog
devices and Group 3 fax machines—including analog
and cordless phones, speakerphone extensions, and
other industry standard tip/ring (2500 set) analog
devices—to your NBX system.
- Offers
an ideal solution for integrating analog devices in
warehouses, classrooms, and common areas into an organization's
communications network
- Supports
door phones, paging systems, external alerts, and
other applications that may require FXS analog connectivity
- Helps
preserve investments in tip/ring analog devices

3Com NBX Analog Adapter (3C10400)
The 3Com NBX Analog Terminal Adapter
(ATA) 3C10400 is a stand-alone unit
with a single 10/100 Ethernet (FXS)
port. It allows an analog and an Ethernet
device to share the same Ethernet LAN
cabling with the flexibility of being
powered by a local power supply or via
an IEEE 802.3af-compliant Power over
Ethernet (PoE) power source. The ATA
connects to the 3Com SuperStack®
3 Switch 4400 PWR, 3Com IntelliJack™
switch, or any other PoE-compliant power
source via an RJ-45 Ethernet connector.

NBX 4-port Analog Terminal Card
The 3Com NBX Analog Terminal Card slides
into any available slot of an NBX chassis
to provide four RJ-11 (FXS) analog jacks.
The card receives power from its NBX
chassis which can be deployed with back-up
power for connectivity assurance. With
its higher port density, the ATC is
a more economical choice for locations
with multiple analog devices. |
